Summary
A remote code execution vulnerability exists in VS Code 1.141.0 and earlier where opening a workspace using vscode.dev/agents/tunnel would skip workspace trust, allowing the user to run skills that could be contributed by the attacker without warning.
Details
An attacker would need to convince the VS Code user to open the workspace on the vscode.dev/agents/tunnel path and run sessions on it.
Patches
Fixed in VS Code 1.141.1. The fix (010ee1a) mitigates the issue by adding workspace trust to the endpoint.
Workarounds
Do not open untrusted workspaces through the agents/tunnel web path.
