All Qidi printers lost their slicer profiles in the published bundle.

SimplyPrint renamed the brand from "Qidi Tech" to "Qidi", and the daily output dropped every Qidi mapping from 2026-10-23. Upstream's Qidi (Bambu-family slicers) and QIDITechnology (PrusaSlicer, SuperSlicer) vendors still normalized to qidi tech, which no longer matches any SimplyPrint brand.

Production isn't affected yet, because web imports from a pinned commit (55b7d78) from before the rename. The first import of the new bundle would remove the links for these models: X-Max, X-Plus, X-Smart 3, X-Plus 3, X-CF Pro, X-Max 3, Q1 Pro, Q2 and Q2C.

Changes

  • brands.py: Qidi vendors map to qidi.
  • tests/test_brands.py: covers each slicer's Qidi vendor.

Validation

  • Compared production's pinned output with today's published bundle. Qidi is the only brand that lost mappings: 43 model/engine pairs.
  • Ran the mapper on this branch with the published bundle's model list (934 models). It recovers all 43 pairs and changes no others.
  • The tests pass (61).

SimplyPrint renamed the brand from Qidi Tech to Qidi on 2026-10-23. Upstream's
Qidi and QIDITechnology vendors still mapped to "qidi tech", so all 43 Qidi
model mappings dropped out of the daily output and the published bundle.
