Summary
Add
physionet access <slug> [--version VERSION]andPhysioNetClient.projects.get_access_status()to show the server's current PhysioNet download decision and outstanding access steps. The command supports Basic authentication, interactive password entry, environment credentials, a custom base URL, and JSON output. Omitting the version asks the server for the latest published version. The package displays the server response and does not implement access rules locally. A successful lookup exits with 0 even if access is still pending; callers can inspect
can_downloadin JSON. An older server or unknown project/version produces a clear error.Dependency
Requires the platform endpoint in MIT-LCP/physionet-build#2821 to be deployed before the command works against production. Release this package change after that deployment.
Tests
Five new tests cover the typed Python result, human and JSON output, environment credentials and custom server, unsupported endpoint, and unattended missing-password behavior. Full suite: 324 passed, 1 skipped.
