Make imports and setup history report and respect what they did - #2211
--yes imports never prompt about excluded paths and keep them excluded, deleted sessions count as deleted, kcap's own title-generation runs stay out of history, and imported Claude sessions keep the transcript's branch. Setup offers history from every harness found, says a never-run harness has no history rather than unreadable, shows its foreground/background split, can leave projects out of the import, and names imported sessions only after an explicit opt-in that says where the excerpts go.
Where to look
Behaviour change: naming imported sessions is opt-in for cloud and local setups.
ImportDiscoverySummary carries per-harness and per-folder figures; the desktop history step and kcap setup read the same summary.
Windows Sandbox, against the local server bundle: discovery for a never-run harness exits 0 with an empty report; a kcap-claude-<id> transcript is not counted; a second import of unchanged transcripts imports nothing; import --yes in its own console keeps the excluded session off the server.
Naming sends excerpts to the agent's model provider, so it runs only on a yes given after the disclosure.

Walkthrough
The pull request expands history discovery and import selection across harnesses, repositories, and unmatched folders. It adds per-run exclusions, opt-in session naming, deleted and deferred import accounting, helper-run detection, transcript-branch handling, and related documentation.

Discovery reports and history selection src/Capacitor.Cli/Commands/ImportDiscovery*, src/Capacitor.App/Services/ImportDiscovery*, src/Capacitor.App/ViewModels/Onboarding/*, src/Capacitor.App/Views/Onboarding/HistoryPaneView.axaml
Discovery reports include vendor shares and unmatched folders. The onboarding flow discovers across harnesses and supports source, repository, and folder selection.

Repository and folder scopes can be combined. Per-run exclusions and naming choices pass through foreground and background imports.
Import outcomes and metadata src/Capacitor.Cli/Commands/ImportCommand.cs, src/Capacitor.Cli/Commands/TranscriptFileClassification.cs, src/Capacitor.Cli/Harness/*/*ImportSource.cs
Import counts distinguish deleted and deferred sessions. Claude and Codex imports use recorded transcript branches when available.
Helper runs and agent lifecycle src/Capacitor.Cli.Core/Harness/Claude/*, src/Capacitor.Cli/Commands/Harness/ClaudeHookCommand.cs, src/Capacitor.Cli/Commands/SessionImporter.cs, src/Capacitor.Cli/Commands/TitleGenerator.cs
Claude helper runs receive identifiable session IDs and working directories. Capture, discovery, and title generation recognize helper runs. Agent lifecycle payloads can include resolved spawn-call IDs.
Documentation and validation README.md, src/Capacitor.Cli.Core/Resources/help-*, test/**
Documentation covers setup consent, telemetry, import behavior, daemon operations, skills, status output, and command details. Tests cover the updated discovery and import flows.

Explanation
The changes satisfy the coding objectives for [#2123], [#2142], [#2144], [#2145], [#1719], [#2105], and [#2155]. They add transcript-branch handling, owned helper-run filtering, noninteractive exclusion handling, reconciled import counts, empty-harness discovery, all-harness history selection, and project-level import selection. They also add opt-in naming, provider disclosure, and unnamed background imports for [#2143]. The supplied tests and verification do not verify the privacy policy with real Claude or Codex agents. Local subprocess tests do not establish the required external-processing behavior.
Resolution
Add automated acceptance coverage with the supported Claude and Codex agents. Verify that unnamed imports send no transcript excerpts, opted-in naming sends only the disclosed excerpts to the configured provider, and declining harness setup does not enable naming. Cover CLI, app, and background import paths.

Explanation
Most import and setup changes directly support [#2123], [#2142], [#2143], [#2144], [#2145], [#1719], [#2105], and [#2155]. The README also documents unrelated changes to recap output, listing failures, plan validation, path remapping, daemon service behavior and version reporting, agent resume state, uninstall cleanup, and status connection failures. The linked issues do not define these objectives.
Resolution
Remove the unrelated README sections from this pull request, or move them to separate pull requests with matching linked issues.

A folder import names no harness, so with every harness box unchecked it would otherwise import from all of them.

Allow a folder-only report to offer an import.
380-382: Major · Functional Correctness · Heavy lift
Allow a folder-only report to offer an import.
When discovery finds unmatched folders but no repositories, Apply sets State to HistoryState.OnlyUnmatched. HasRepos is then false, so DetailsVisible and FoldersVisible are false. CanLeaveAsync also requires HasRepos before it calls StartImport, even when SelectedFolderCount is greater than zero. A folder-only report therefore cannot import its selected folders.
Folders also default to excluded, so the page must expose them and allow the user to include them before the import can start.

Update Apply and the folder-only state handling so reports with unmatched
folders expose the folder controls even when Groups is empty. Ensure folders can
be selected for import, and update CanLeaveAsync to allow StartImport when
SelectedFolderCount is greater than zero without requiring HasRepos; preserve
the existing repository import path.

A folder import names only the offered harnesses, so a folder's count must leave out sessions no checkbox covers.
