🌳 Issue Arborist Report

Issues analyzed: 55

Parent issues created

None — no orphan cluster of 5+ clearly related issues without an existing parent was found.

Parent	Sub-issue	Reasoning
#1535 Track and resolve recurring AI-credits rate-limit failures	#1665 [aw] Issue Arborist hit AI credits rate limit	Same pattern as existing sub-issues (#1571, #1598, #1641) — a newer rate-limit incident for the same agentic workflow
#1286 Compiler internals and pipeline generation improvements	#1583 docs: fix AGENTS.md accuracy — add trigger-e2e to ado-script tree and export-fact-catalog to CLI index	Docs accuracy fix directly targets the ado-script bundle tree and CLI index, which are compiler-internals documentation
#1286 Compiler internals and pipeline generation improvements	#1632 [agent-issue]: align GitHub issue-reporting token variable names	Rust + JS refactor aligning token variable names in the compiler/pipeline generation layer

Suggested (not linked — for maintainer review)

• chore(workflows): recompile safe-output fixtures with ado-aw v0.36.0 #1027, chore(workflows): recompile safe-output fixtures with ado-aw v0.37.0 #1041, chore(workflows): recompile safe-output fixtures with ado-aw v0.38.0 #1156 ("recompile safe-output fixtures with ado-aw vX.Y.Z") — a recurring maintenance chore cluster (only 3 issues; below 5-issue threshold for a new parent). If more accumulate, a parent like "Track safe-output fixture recompile chores" would be warranted. Could also link to [Parent] Safe-output executor E2E test coverage and tool correctness #1428 (Safe-output E2E coverage) if maintainers see them as related test-maintenance work.
• 🔴 Red Team Audit — High: Shell injection via runtimes.lean.toolchain #855 (🔴 Red Team Audit — Shell injection via runtimes.lean.toolchain) — a high-severity security issue with no clear parent. Consider a security parent if similar red-team findings accumulate.
• feat: align FrontMatter fields with gh-aw schema — run-name, labels, metadata, tracker-id, source, strict #451 (feat: align FrontMatter fields with gh-aw schema) — potentially related to [Parent] Compiler internals and pipeline generation improvements (IR types, YAML gen, prompt decoupling) #1286 (compiler internals) or [Parent] Track agent runtime and execution pipeline improvements #1649 (agent runtime improvements), but the frontmatter-alignment label suggests it may warrant its own epic as it touches many fields. Not linked due to ambiguity.
• feat: allow enable to target individual pipeline files #1634 (feat: allow enable to target individual pipeline files) and Allow config overrides e.g. npmrc for built ins #253 (Allow config overrides for built-ins) — CLI lifecycle enhancements that don't cluster with existing parents. Worth watching if related issues accumulate.
• Feature request: first-class TLA+ / TLC (Java) runtime support #1222 (TLA+/TLC Java runtime support) — standalone runtime enhancement request; no existing "runtimes" parent exists, but with only one issue a new parent isn't warranted yet.
• [aw] Detection Runs #793 ([aw] Detection Runs) and [aw] No-Op Runs #13 ([aw] No-Op Runs) — long-standing telemetry/tracking issues; unclear scope without reading detail.

Observations

• The backlog is well-structured with active parents for the five main domains: rate-limit failures ([Parent] Track and resolve recurring AI-credits rate-limit failures in scheduled agentic workflows #1535), non-RL workflow failures ([Parent] Track and resolve recurring agentic workflow execution failures (non-rate-limit) #1549), deps release notes ([Parent] Track and act on upstream dependency release-note action items (awf, mcpg, copilot-cli) #1283), MCPG/safe-outputs ([Parent] MCPG infrastructure and safe-output tooling improvements #1321), and compiler internals ([Parent] Compiler internals and pipeline generation improvements (IR types, YAML gen, prompt decoupling) #1286). The newer [Parent] Track agent runtime and execution pipeline improvements #1649 (agent runtime) is gaining traction with 3 sub-issues.
• The "recompile fixtures" chore pattern (chore(workflows): recompile safe-output fixtures with ado-aw v0.36.0 #1027, chore(workflows): recompile safe-output fixtures with ado-aw v0.37.0 #1041, chore(workflows): recompile safe-output fixtures with ado-aw v0.38.0 #1156) is recurring but stale — all three are open, suggesting this maintenance work is not being consistently closed out.
• Only 14 of 55 issues were unlinked entering this run; the tree is in good shape.
